History teacher, Dunja Mayer, earned her degree in history from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. Her goal is to encourage curiosity in her students and provide them with the proper tools to learn how to objectively, scientifically and systematically approach history and exciting past events in order to have a better understanding of the present and develop strong critical thinking skills. She enjoys socialising, travelling, reading and being physically active.

As a historian inclined to analytical thinking, she looks at the whole picture in order to notice the details and prioritise and select important information from less important information.
She possesses diverse skill sets such as excellent verbal communication, international experience, educational skills, patience, understanding of each individual’s personal needs and the ability to explain complex information in clear, concise terms and she is constantly working on her education. Dunja is fluent in German and English.
